Pro Tips

  • Reduce thickness by no more than 10–15% per pass for a clean surface finish and longer roller life.
  • Always anneal metal before rolling and re-anneal after several passes to prevent cracking.
  • Feed the workpiece in the same direction each time to maintain a consistent surface finish.
  • Apply a thin protective oil to the rollers after each session to prevent corrosion — wipe off before the next use.
  • Use a scrap piece of the same metal to test your roller gap setting before committing to your final workpiece.

FAQ

What does "4-in-1" mean?
The machine rolls flat metal sheet and forms three wire profiles — round, square and half-round — without needing separate mills.

What metals can it process?
It is designed for annealed gold, silver, copper, brass, bronze and other compatible non-ferrous jewellery metals. Do not use it on hardened steel, stainless steel or titanium.

What does the 0.1–7mm range refer to?
This is the adjustable opening between the rollers. The available finished wire sizes are determined by the individual grooves, not a continuous range across all profiles.

Does the metal need to be annealed first?
Yes. Annealing softens the metal for easier rolling and reduces the risk of cracking. Re-anneal after several passes as the metal work-hardens.

Can it transfer textures onto metal sheet?
Yes, compatible texture materials can be transferred using the flat rollers. Be aware that hard or contaminated texture materials can permanently mark the roller surface.
