Automatic CNC Pulse Argon Arc Jewelry Spot Welder
Precision Pulse-Arc Welding for Jewellery Repair and Fine Metalwork
The Tooltos CNC Pulse Argon Arc Jewellery Spot Welder is designed for controlled, localised welding of small jewellery components.
With an adjustable output of 50–600A, a 3–30ms pulse-time range and five preset welding programmes, it gives jewellers greater control when repairing chains, resizing rings, joining small components or producing permanent jewellery.
The digital pulse system concentrates energy around the joint, helping to reduce the amount of heat transferred to the surrounding area compared with conventional soldering methods.
For cleaner welds and reduced surface oxidation, argon shielding gas is recommended, particularly when working with gold, silver and titanium.
Suitable Applications
This pulse-arc jewellery welder is suitable for:
Permanent jewellery chain closing
Bracelet and necklace link repair
Ring resizing and ring repair
Prong and bezel repair
Small jewellery component assembly
Gold and silver jewellery fabrication
Titanium jewellery work
Cobalt-chromium components
Orthodontic and dental laboratory metalwork
Eyeglass-frame and small precision metal repairs
Dental and orthodontic applications refer to technical laboratory metalwork only. This machine is not a medical device and is not intended for direct clinical use.
Important Product Classification
This is a tungsten-electrode pulse-arc micro welder.
It is not a conventional two-electrode resistance spot welder, and it is not a fully automatic robotic welding system. The operator must position the workpiece and tungsten electrode correctly before each weld.

Material Thickness Notice
The stated 5mm value is the maximum equipment specification and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed welding depth for every metal or joint.
For jewellery work, results depend heavily on the material, alloy, joint fit, surface condition, electrode shape and selected settings. Always test the proposed parameters on scrap material first.

Recommended Operating Procedure
Confirm that the machine voltage matches your local power supply.
Install and sharpen the tungsten electrode.
Connect the grounding clip securely to the workpiece.
Connect the argon supply when shielding gas is required.
Select the programme closest to the material being welded.
Begin with a low output setting.
Test the weld on scrap material of the same alloy and thickness.
Increase the power gradually until a stable weld is achieved.
Keep the tungsten tip clean and correctly shaped.
Allow the machine and workpiece to cool when carrying out repeated welds.
Safety Information
Read the instruction manual before operation.
Wear suitable welding eye protection.
Use heat-resistant gloves where appropriate.
Operate the machine in a dry and well-ventilated workspace.
Keep flammable materials away from the welding area.
Secure the argon cylinder in accordance with local safety requirements.
Never touch the electrode or workpiece during discharge.
Disconnect the machine from the power supply before maintenance.
Do not operate the machine with damaged cables, connectors or gas hoses.
Keep the machine away from children and unauthorised users.
The equipment should be operated only by trained adults.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can it weld gold and silver?
Yes. It is designed for fine gold and silver jewellery fabrication and repair. Argon shielding is recommended to reduce oxidation and improve surface finish.
Silver has high thermal conductivity and may require additional parameter testing compared with gold.
Is it suitable for permanent jewellery?
Yes. It can be used for closing small permanent jewellery chains, bracelets and anklets. Always test the selected settings on an identical spare link before working on the final piece.
Is argon gas required?
The machine can perform selected basic welds without argon. However, argon is recommended for gold, silver, titanium and applications where reduced oxidation and a cleaner weld surface are important.
Is an argon cylinder included?
No. The argon cylinder must be purchased locally.
Cylinder valves and connector standards vary by country, so a locally compatible regulator or adapter may be required.
Is the machine fully automatic?
No. The CNC system digitally controls the pulse parameters and provides preset programmes. The operator still positions the electrode and workpiece and initiates each weld.
Can it weld aluminium?
This model is not designed or recommended for aluminium welding.
Which voltage should European customers select?
Most European countries and the United Kingdom use approximately 220–240V mains power. Select the 220V machine option and confirm your required plug type before dispatch.
Can it weld every material up to 5mm thick?
No. The stated 5mm value is an equipment-limit reference rather than a guaranteed welding capacity for every material.
Practical results depend on alloy composition, shape, joint design, surface preparation and operator technique.
Is it suitable for beginners?
The five preset programmes make initial setup easier, but pulse-arc welding still requires practice. Beginners should always test on scrap metal before welding a finished jewellery piece.
Voltage, Plug and Gas Connection
For orders delivered to Europe, select the 220V version.
Please confirm the following before ordering:
Local mains voltage
Required power-plug type
