This rotary jewellery tumbler finishes small metal parts by rotating workpieces with suitable media inside a transparent horizontal drum. Five speed settings, bidirectional rotation, and a 0–60 minute mechanical timer give you controlled batch deburring, surface smoothing, and pre-polishing in one compact machine.

The clear polycarbonate drum lets you monitor the process without stopping the cycle. A 150 g pack of carbon steel polishing beads is included to get started. Available in 110V and 220V — select the version that matches your local power supply.

Voltage Selection Guide

This machine is available in separate 110V and 220V versions. Select the version that matches your local mains supply before ordering.

Pro Tips

  • Begin with a short cycle and inspect the work before increasing time or speed — over-tumbling can round edges and details.
  • Leave free space in the drum so the load tumbles rather than rotates as a solid mass; the 5 kg rating is drum capacity, not workpiece load.
  • Match media and compound to the workpiece material and desired finish — carbon steel beads suit burnishing but may not suit all alloys.
  • Separate media used with different compounds to prevent cross-contamination between finishing stages.
  • Rinse and dry workpieces after processing, and clean and dry carbon steel media promptly to reduce rust risk.

FAQ

Does 5 kg mean I can load 5 kg of jewellery?

No. The 5 kg figure is the drum capacity. The working load must leave room for media, liquid where appropriate, and free tumbling movement.

What does bidirectional rotation do?

Changing direction redistributes parts and media during the cycle, helping expose different surfaces for more even coverage.

Can it produce a mirror finish?

It supports deburring, smoothing, burnishing and pre-polishing. A high-gloss mirror finish typically requires additional hand or bench polishing.

Can I tumble stone-set jewellery?

Only after confirming that every stone and setting can tolerate the process. Do not tumble soft stones such as pearls, opals, or turquoise.

What media is included?

The package includes 150 g of carbon steel polishing beads. Additional or alternative media may be needed depending on your material and desired finish.
